Lead Senior Network Engineer

Overview

The role involves leading and managing the deployment, configuration, and optimization of sophisticated enterprise network and security infrastructure. You will provide technical leadership on medium to large projects, collaborate with project managers to ensure adherence to scope, schedules, and quality requirements, and support network security platforms such as Cisco, Alcatel, Solarwinds, Cisco ISE, Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and Fortinet.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation, integration, and fine-tuning of complex network and security solutions on enterprise scale.
• Serve as the primary technical lead for large projects, steering architecture and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Partner with project management teams to consistently meet project timelines, objectives, and customer expectations.
• Implement and support advanced network security infrastructures across key vendor platforms.
• Lead investigations to resolve root causes of network and security incidents, acting as a technical authority for escalations.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including high-level and low-level designs, configuration baselines, test procedures, installation guides, and operational manuals.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions, trainings, and incident debriefings to enhance team skills and operational efficiency.
• Ensure quality control over processes and deliverables, maintaining compliance with security and governance standards.
• Prepare project status reports and contribute to progress updates.
• Assist in transitioning infrastructure smoothly from implementation to operational maintenance phases.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience delivering network security infrastructure projects with hands-on expertise in configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and UPS systems.
• Experienced in engaging with end-users and vendors to gather business requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions.
• Proficient in design, planning, risk evaluation, implementation, and testing of network security solutions.
• Preferred certifications include CCNA, CCNP, or higher-level certifications in firewall technologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills combined with analytical problem-solving abilities.
• Highly resourceful, proactive, independent, and a collaborative team player.

Work Location

This position is based onsite at the Jurong East facility in Singapore.
