Position Overview
Secure Innovation, a part of CGI's Space, Defence and Intelligence division, focuses on delivering modern and innovative technical solutions to complex government challenges. We develop high-performance, secure, reliable, and scalable systems using state-of-the-art CI/CD tools and methodologies. We invite an experienced Python Software Engineer to join our team, someone capable of innovative problem-solving beyond conventional approaches.

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years' experience in Python programming, including object-oriented and functional styles.
- Proven leadership in software development teams with mentoring of junior developers.
- Expertise in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Skills in software design creation and documentation.
- Experience working with data processing pipelines.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud or virtualization platforms.
- A strong enthusiasm for learning emerging technologies and fostering innovation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Desirable Additional Skills
- Experience working on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Knowledge of ElasticSearch and Kibana tools.
- Proficiency with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Understanding of security protocols like PKI and TLS.
