Role Overview
The Product Marketing Team serves as a vital link between product, marketing, and revenue streams, blending strategy, storytelling, and market intelligence to fuel platform expansion. As a Lead Product Marketing Manager for the DeepL Translator product line, you will be responsible for leading the Go-To-Market strategy for a critical segment of DeepL's offerings targeted at large enterprises. Your strategic vision, based on comprehensive market, competitive, and customer analyses, will guide product positioning, messaging, and cross-functional launch initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete Product Marketing strategy and implementation for specific capabilities of the DeepL Translator, shaping how our value and differentiation are communicated globally.
- Drive product roadmap decisions informed by deep insights into markets, competition, and customer needs.
- Translate advanced AI technologies and research outcomes into concise, outcome-focused messaging tailored to enterprise stakeholders.
- Plan and execute international product launches by synergizing efforts between Marketing, Product, and Revenue teams to maximize awareness and user adoption.
- Collaborate with Sales Enablement to equip global revenue teams with effective training and sales assets, ensuring competitive positioning and tracking win consistency.
- Work jointly with Marketing and Revenue teams to establish integrated strategies that enhance platform recognition, generate demand, and ensure sustained user engagement.
Candidate Profile
- Over 6 years of career experience in Marketing, Product, or Revenue roles, including a minimum of 4 years focused on B2B Product Marketing.
- Skilled at navigating between strategic visioning, competitive analysis, and tactical revenue support to drive results.
- Proven track record in leading go-to-market strategies for complex technological or platform-based products.
- Exceptional storytelling ability, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts for enterprise decision-makers.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, utilizing data-driven approaches to solve problems.
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and collaboration experience with product development, research, and sales units.
- Technologically savvy with AI, leveraging AI tools to optimize personal productivity and a strong interest in the advancements of language technology for enterprise applications.
- Fluent in English and passionate about languages and effective communication.
