Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design activities across projects from initial concept to production release.
- Develop and manage detailed 3D models and assemblies using Creo software, adhering to European regulations and internal engineering standards.
- Engineer manufacture-friendly designs that align with production capabilities and follow Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Design major chiller components including piping, structural parts, sheet metal assemblies, and mechanical subsystems.
- Collaborate closely with production plants in Izmir and Nantes to align designs with manufacturing constraints, like pipe routing and fabrication techniques.
- Maintain rigorous version control through the PDM system complying with company documentation processes.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, suppliers, and operations teams to incorporate suitable materials and technologies.
- Investigate and solve technical challenges involving engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
- Apply engineering standards, manufacturing specs, and regulatory guidelines during design development.

- 5 to 10 years of mechanical design experience in manufacturing environments.
- Proficient in Creo for 3D CAD design and drafting.
- Familiarity with Product Data Management (PDM) systems and change management procedures.
- Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes such as sheet metal fabrication, piping, assembly methods, and DFM principles.
- Experience in creating precise engineering drawings and Bills of Materials.
- Ability to interpret technical standards, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
- Strong communication skills with proven stakeholder management capabilities.
- Confident in asserting technical opinions and influencing project direction.
- Motivated by continuous learning and development.
- Adept at managing priorities and performing well under evolving conditions.
- Team-oriented with a focus on practical solutions.
Preferred Experience
- Background in HVAC, cooling technologies, industrial equipment, or similar engineer-to-order manufacturing environments.
- Experience collaborating directly with suppliers and production teams during product design.
- Knowledgeable about European regulatory requirements and product compliance.
