About the Role
This position demands extensive expertise in Java programming with a focus on Spring Boot microservices architecture. Candidates are expected to have a decade-long career in IT, demonstrating skillfulness in object-oriented design and programming principles.
Key Responsibilities and Expertise
- Deep understanding and application of design patterns and programming principles.
- Capability to analyze and explain time and space complexity of code.
- Proficient use of Java 8 or newer features including functional programming constructs such as Lambdas and Streams.
- Strong knowledge in multi-threading, exception management, comparators, and asynchronous programming with CompletableFuture.
- Comprehensive grasp of core Spring Boot concepts: dependency injection, inversion of control, aspect-oriented programming, component scanning, lifecycle and scope of beans, and REST API error handling.
- Experience implementing JPA for database interaction and proficient in microservices via Open API specifications.
- Familiarity with messaging brokers, relational and NoSQL databases, and caching mechanisms in microservice architecture.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, deploying and scaling applications through cloud service providers.
- Work experience with continuous integration and delivery workflows, particularly Azure DevOps, incorporating Git version control, automated CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, along with distributed caching using Redis.
- Exposure to front-end frameworks like Angular, React, and scripting languages including JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Capability to develop and review secure coding practices aligned with OWASP Top 10 security standards.
