Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to the Graphics programming team.
• Contribute to recruiting efforts for new Graphics Programmers.
• Oversee code reviews and manage documentation related to code features.
• Collaborate closely with other programming leads across Larian Studios.
• Maintain, port, and enhance the proprietary game engine across various platforms.
• Debug and optimize graphics code to meet high-quality and performance standards.
• Exhibit a strong enthusiasm for low-level programming and performance analysis.
• Deliver all tasks punctually with consistently high quality.
• Develop well-structured software adhering to project timelines and team standards.
• Demonstrate passion for creating top-tier, state-of-the-art games.
• Protect company assets including source code, artwork, tools, and technical knowledge.

Candidate Profile

• Proven leadership or management experience in software development.
• Extensive programming background specifically within game development.
• Excellent proficiency in C++ programming language.
• Strong skills in mentoring and coaching team members.
• A passionate gamer and developer committed to exceptional gaming experiences.
• Hands-on experience with graphics APIs such as DirectX 12 and Vulkan.
• Familiarity with a variety of CPU and GPU profiling tools.
• Deep understanding of multi-threading concepts, considered second nature.
• Fluency in English at a professional level, both written and spoken.
• This is a full-time role requiring on-site presence to foster collaboration and creativity.
