Lead Full Stack Engineer (Work from Home)

About the Job

We are looking for a dynamic Lead Full-Stack Engineer to drive the technical vision of our financial data platform. This key role involves overseeing the maintenance and scaling of a financial reporting system and creating efficient web-based Excel integrations aimed at assisting audit and tax professionals. As the technical leader, you will define architecture, provide hands-on problem-solving support, and guide junior engineers to promote code excellence and continuous learning.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the complete technical strategy for an ecosystem involving Angular, OfficeJS on the frontend, and Flask on the backend.
• Manage web application deployments on company servers while ensuring uptime and efficient incident handling.
• Develop and sustain web Excel Add-ins using Office.js, connecting the platform tightly with financial workflows.
• Mentor junior team members, perform comprehensive code reviews, and foster a culture committed to technical quality.
• Proactively identify and resolve potential system bottlenecks without needing external prompts.

Technical Skills

• Frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular (latest versions), TypeScript, and RxJS.
• Backend proficiency with Python, Flask, Pandas, RESTful API design, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Git version control and deployment tools such as Apache and NGINX for backend and frontend.
• Familiarity with Office.js and Excel Add-in development is strongly preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications and Desired Soft Skills

• Minimum of five years’ full-stack development experience, ideally in the FinTech domain.
• Demonstrated ownership and initiative in solving technical challenges independently.
• Previous leadership experience in mentoring and making architectural decisions.
• Strong communication abilities to simplify complex technical topics for various stakeholders and junior developers.

Additional Information

• Only individuals with at least six years of professional experience and a background in Computer Science Engineering are eligible to apply.
• The position offers an annual salary range between ₹1,800,000 and ₹2,200,000.
• This is a full-time remote role based in India, available for immediate start.
