Trusted by global giants like Google, Microsoft, Dell, Oracle, and Mitsubishi, Litmus supports software-defined manufacturing to optimize production and minimize downtime.
Why Work Here?
- Develop core infrastructure that drives industrial AI, bridging the gap between physical devices and cloud AI systems.
- Tackle complex challenges in distributed systems, real-time data processing, and industrial environments demanding high reliability and performance.
- Engage in impactful work that directly influences product development and company growth within a fast-moving scale-up environment.
- Collaborate with a skilled and experienced team focused on ownership, speed, and meaningful outcomes.

Empathy guides both communication and work practices. The environment is dynamic, with evolving priorities, ideal for those who enjoy problem-solving and teamwork.
Role Overview
You will lead the front-end team responsible for the user interface of Litmus Edge – an industrial platform deployed globally on factory floors. This UI showcases plant operations, configuration, an application marketplace, and analytical tools. Your leadership involves overseeing architecture for a unified codebase that delivers multiple branded products, ensuring clarity amid contributions from diverse teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Architect and own the front-end framework of Litmus Edge UI, focusing on Angular/TypeScript applications, shared components, state management, theming, and configuration enabling multiple OEM-branded product variants from one codebase.
- Design and maintain rich, data-intensive interfaces handling configuration, marketplace, and analytics workflows, ensuring performance and scalability.
- Mentor team members by resolving technical challenges and making crucial design and architectural decisions in collaboration with lead engineers.
- Conduct code reviews for your team and other front-end contributions, while continuing active coding involvement.
- Coordinate closely with Product, QA, and Backend teams to align UI features with APIs and maintain robust automated testing access.
- Manage delivery processes for UI changes, including component versioning, build tagging, and adherence to branching strategies, while enforcing quality through unit tests, accessibility, cross-browser compliance, and security best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in front-end software development, with at least 5 years developing production-grade applications using Angular (v2+) and TypeScript.
- At least 3 years in a technical leadership role guiding engineering teams.
- Deep expertise in modern front-end design patterns, component architecture, reactive state management using RxJS, and building shared component libraries.
- Proven experience developing and debugging sophisticated, data-rich user interfaces such as those involving real-time data visualization or large-scale editable data grids.
- Solid understanding of web standards including cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and UI design principles.
- Proficiency with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development environments.
Preferred Experience
- Building and shipping white-labeled or OEM-branded applications derived from a single codebase.
- Knowledge of authentication methods like OIDC/Keycloak and implementation of browser-based role access control.
- Familiarity with industrial automation, IIoT, or operational technology sectors.
Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from CA$150,000 to CA$180,000 annually.
