Job description
About the Company
ANZ is dedicated to creating opportunities for people and communities to flourish, driven by a mission to enhance the financial well-being and sustainability of millions of customers.
Role Overview
As the Lead for Digital Commercialisation Performance (Analytics), reporting to the Senior Manager of the same function, you will oversee the digital analytics, tracking, and MarTech measurement capabilities to guarantee dependable, integrated performance data across Digital Commercialisation & Growth. This role is critical for defining, translating, and implementing measurement playbooks, ensuring dashboards are robust and data governance is strict across multiple digital touchpoints including web, app, campaigns, and funnel journeys.
This position regards digital data as a fundamental asset to business, technology, and MarTech—not merely a reporting function—and requires collaborating closely with Technology, Data, Marketing, and Product teams to prioritize analytics requirements, data feeds, and their uses, including providing support for in-depth analytics and broader applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement analytics requirements from measurement playbooks covering events, tags, variables, data layers, dashboards, and validation standards.
- Ensure consistency of Adobe Analytics tracking across platforms such as websites, apps, campaigns, and personalized journeys.
- Guide delivery teams with tagging directives and verify that tracking mechanisms function properly.
- Embed analytics validation earlier in the release cycles to reduce post-release data issues and enhance readiness.
- Maintain and ensure connectivity of Adobe and digital data for a range of use cases, including reporting, journey analytics, personalization, lead management, modeling, retargeting, and remediation.
- Oversee dependencies across Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Audience Manager, data layers, Pega, dashboards, and related tools.
- Manage the governance and quality controls of Adobe Analytics including naming conventions, standards, segment libraries, access, and documentation.
- Monitor and escalate data quality concerns, troubleshoot analytics issues, and coordinate solutions.
- Manage the analytics request process including prioritization, change control, and active stakeholder communication.
- Maintain platform hygiene, debug issues, document processes, and transfer knowledge to support business self-service capabilities.
- Serve as the analytics subject matter expert for Adobe and connected MarTech measurement within the digital commercialisation group.
- Empower analysts and business teams to understand data availability, limitations, and appropriate use while managing tool access.
- Identify and implement automation of analytics validation and delivery improvements to boost confidence in data reporting.
- Contribute to the evolution and scaling of the analytics roadmap to ensure technologies align with strategic goals and future customer journeys.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven expertise in Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, digital tagging, data layers, and analytics implementation in web or app contexts.
- Strong ability to translate business measurement goals into technical analytics specs and validation requirements.
- Deep understanding of digital customer journeys, conversion funnels, event-based measurement, and data quality management.
- Experience maintaining analytics implementation standards, documenting processes, debugging, and validating release readiness.
- Excellent collaboration skills working with Technology, Data, MarTech, and business teams to synchronize data connections, identifiers, latency, and use cases.
- Effective stakeholder communication skills with the ability to clarify technical analytics topics in accessible business language.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
- Familiarity with Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager, Pega CDH, digital personalization, decisioning, or marketing activation platforms.
- Experience with analytics quality assurance automation, regression testing, CI/CD processes, or AI-assisted analytics validation.
- Understanding of privacy, consent, data governance, media pixels, conversion tags, audience suppression, and regulated digital environments.
- Background supporting model inputs, retargeting, remediation, error reporting, or operational analytics use cases.
- Proficiency in SQL, BigQuery, Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization and reporting tools.
Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary degree in Analytics, Technology, Digital, Marketing, Data, Business, or related fields is preferred.
- Certifications in Adobe Analytics, tag management, data visualization, analytics implementation, or agile methodologies are advantageous.
