About the Company and Role
This role is with a renowned Swedish brand, beloved worldwide and found in millions of homes. The company has revolutionized home design accessibility and now seeks a Lead Data Analyst for its ANZ insights and analytics team, which covers functions like inventory, forecasting, pricing analytics, new product development, web analysis, and customer insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the data analytics strategy across the ANZ business, advocating data-driven decision making and demonstrating tangible commercial impact to stakeholders and executives.
- Guide and mentor a team of three Data Analysts, without formal people management duties.
- Engage in hands-on data tasks including crafting advanced SQL queries, building and maintaining Power BI dashboards, and utilizing BigQuery and Python technologies.
- Promote AI adoption and ensure proper governance standards are followed.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify valuable data use cases and cooperate with Research and Insights leaders to translate analytics outputs into actionable insights.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in multinational, client-side analytics environments.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams effectively.
- Technical expertise with SQL, BigQuery, Python, and Power BI.
- Familiarity with advanced analytics techniques.
- Exceptional communication skills to simplify technical concepts for business audiences.
- A down-to-earth, inquisitive, and team-oriented mindset with a passion for problem-solving and leadership.
Additional Information
Salary package can reach up to AUD 170,000 annually, including superannuation, plus bonuses and benefits. The workplace is located in Sydney with perks such as free parking, flexible working arrangements, and wellness programs. Only Australian Permanent Residents and Citizens will be eligible for consideration.
