  • Facilitate Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities, including Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility (R&R), bias, and linearity assessments.
  • Prepare and review dimensional documentation relevant to FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions.
  • Ensure all measurement procedures comply with customer specifications, regulatory standards, and internal quality controls.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the department.

Candidate Requirements

  • A degree in a STEM field is preferred; however, significant practical engineering experience may be considered in absence of formal qualifications.
  • At least five years of experience performing dimensional inspections on precision-engineered components.
  • Proficient with both Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and traditional measurement instruments.
  • Demonstrated experience programming CMMs, with an advantage given to familiarity with Zeiss Calypso software.
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
  • Knowledge of dimensional measurement standards, PPAP protocols, and Measurement System Analysis methodologies.
  • Proactive problem-solver capable of managing dynamic priorities effectively.
  • Dedicated to promoting continuous improvement and establishing standardized operating procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the aptitude to mentor and influence cross-functional teams.
