Lead Audio Video Technician

Job Overview

The Lead Audio Video Technician works under the Hospitality Department and forms part of the Technical Team servicing the Company's hotel properties. This role may require deployment to various hotel venues to set up and operate fundamental audio, video, and lighting equipment during meetings, social gatherings, and conferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up essential AV gear including microphones, sound mixers, speakers, amplifiers, projectors, video screens, and lighting control boards.
• Understand and manage audio and video signal flow throughout the system, along with basic networking and cabling infrastructure knowledge.
• Perform real-time troubleshooting to solve audio dropouts, projection issues, or feedback problems promptly.
• Adhere strictly to workplace safety and health regulations, particularly when handling heavy rigging and electrical loads.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience of a minimum of 3 years providing AV services; prior hotel experience considered advantageous.
• Competence in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive); familiarity with MacOS is beneficial.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate effectively within teams and with clients.
