Job Overview

We are seeking a committed Lawyer to join our team, ideally on a full-time basis in Nelson. However, exceptional candidates may be considered for part-time or remote positions. A minimum of two years' post-qualification experience (PQE) is required, but there is no upper limit on experience. Whether you are a junior needing supervision or a senior able to independently manage complex files, there is significant opportunity here.

Responsibilities and Work Environment

• The role will focus primarily on relationship property law, though prior experience in this area is not essential—we provide comprehensive training.
• You will handle cases ranging from straightforward property divisions to complex matters involving businesses, trusts, farms, inheritances, and negotiations.

• Client caseloads are capped to ensure quality work and work-life balance.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for lawyers who possess emotional intelligence, curiosity, commercial acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate can listen attentively to clients' stories, simplify complex legal issues, deliver difficult news sensitively, and advocate firmly yet respectfully. Experience in commercial law, property, trusts, or litigation is valuable but not required.
