Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison for UAE law enforcement and government authorities, including Dubai Police and other local enforcement bodies.
• Receive, evaluate, and manage responses to requests concerning user data, transactions, and other information from authorized agencies, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
• Build and sustain professional relationships with law enforcement, regulators, and government stakeholders in the UAE.
• Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, Investigations, Security, Risk, and Operations teams to evaluate requests, gather pertinent information, and coordinate prompt responses.
• Review law enforcement requests to confirm completeness and legal validity required for Binance’s response.
• Coordinate secure collection, preservation, and disclosure of relevant data in response to legitimate requests.
• Maintain detailed records of requests, responses, communications, and case-related information from law enforcement interactions.
• Support investigations related to fraud, financial crime, money laundering, sanctions violations, cybercrimes, and other illicit activities requiring Binance's assistance.
• Identify patterns, recurring challenges, and emergent risks from law enforcement requests and share insights internally.
• Contribute to enhancing policies, procedures, and guidelines for managing UAE law enforcement interactions.
• Provide guidance and training to internal teams regarding engagement with UAE law enforcement and managing information requests.
• Handle all communications and data disclosures with utmost confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion.
• Keep current with UAE legal, regulatory, and law enforcement developments, particularly related to digital assets and cryptocurrencies.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience collaborating with UAE law enforcement, regulatory bodies, or government agencies, especially involving information requests, investigations, or financial crime.
• In-depth knowledge of the UAE enforcement and regulatory frameworks; direct experience or relationships with Dubai Police or other UAE authorities is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in managing information requests including subpoenas, court orders, production orders, or similar official requests.
• Professional background in law enforcement, government, compliance, legal, investigations, or related fields.
• Understanding of AML, financial crimes, fraud, cybercrime, or investigations related to cryptocurrency is highly preferred.
• Experienced in handling sensitive and confidential information with care.
• Strong skills in stakeholder communication and management, able to collaborate effectively with authorities and cross-functional internal teams.
• Excellent organizational abilities enabling the management of multiple cases under strict deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail and sound judgment in assessing sensitive requests and data.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic languages is mandatory.
• Familiarity with the cryptocurrency, fintech, digital asset, or financial services sectors is preferred.
