Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Laundry Manager in all operations of the laundry department.
• Oversee the daily workflow from receiving to packaging laundry items, ensuring processes run smoothly and meet quality standards.
• Organize and plan tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and uphold service excellence.
• Supervise laundry equipment functionality; coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Inspect cleaned laundry for quality issues including stains or damage, and take corrective steps.
• Maintain sufficient inventory of laundry supplies, implementing controls to minimize wastage and loss.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and resolving laundry-related problems in collaboration with the service team.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety policies; train staff in safe chemical handling and equipment use.
• Conduct safety inspections regularly to identify hazards and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Keep accurate operational records such as production logs, inventory status, and maintenance reports.
• Prepare performance reports highlighting productivity and quality metrics for management.
• Lead and motivate the laundry team, delegate responsibilities, and foster a positive and cooperative work atmosphere.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role.
• Proficient in English with strong written and spoken communication abilities.
• Familiarity with Hotel Property Management Systems, especially Opera.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and supervisory skills.
• Effective communication and listening skills to clearly convey information and resolve issues.
• Capable of performing tasks accurately and swiftly, demonstrating courtesy and independence.
