Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Laundry and Dry Cleaning Artisan who is well-versed in professional laundering and dry cleaning procedures. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge and practical experience handling various garments and cleaning equipment efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate commercial washing machines and dryers with proficiency.
• Sort clothing items based on fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements.
• Understand different fabric types and garment care instructions.
• Perform stain removal and pre-spotting techniques effectively.
• Use detergents and cleaning chemicals in accurate quantities.
• Handle delicate items like silk, woollens, blazers, lehengas, and embellished garments with utmost care.
• Follow appropriate washing, drying, and temperature protocols specific to fabric types.
• Inspect clothes prior to cleaning for stains, damages, color bleeding, or shrinkage risk.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of machines and the laundry area.
• Adhere to garment tagging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure clothing is cleaned without causing any damage, color transfer, or shrinkage.
• Communicate any special handling requirements or risks for garments to the team beforehand.

Qualifications and Experience

• Preferred minimum of two years experience in laundry or dry cleaning operations.
• Expertise in operating commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Basic knowledge of stain removal, fabric types, and cleaning chemicals.
• Accustomed to careful handling of customer garments.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Compensation and Additional Information

Monthly salary ranges from ₹23,000 to ₹25,000, depending on experience and assessment of practical skills. Performance incentives and overtime opportunities may be available. Immediate joining is preferred.
