Laundry Aide

Overview

The Laundry Aide at Ciena Healthcare is responsible for delivering laundry services that ensure a safe, hygienic, comfortable, and homelike atmosphere for residents, staff, and visitors. The services must adhere to facility protocols and comply with both state and federal regulations, promoting an enhanced quality of life for all residents.

Responsibilities

• Effectively handle assigned tasks and readily take on additional projects as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of linens following departmental procedures and designated schedules.
• Dispose of trash and waste, including biohazardous materials, following facility guidelines for special handling and safety.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols when handling chemicals.
• Receive cross-training in housekeeping duties and provide assistance when needed.

Qualifications

• At least a high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Preferred: Minimum one year of housekeeping experience.
