Job Summary
The Laundry Aide is responsible for efficiently sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens, clothing, and other fabric items for both the facility and residents using powered washing machines. Maintaining adequate linen supplies is also a key duty.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and garments appropriately.
- Utilize electrically powered washing machines for laundering duties.
- Ensure consistent supply of clean linens and related items.
Requirements
- Ability to adhere to established routines and instructions.
- Basic knowledge of infection control procedures.
- Customer service-focused mindset.
- Must successfully clear a criminal background check.
