Role Overview
To support current and upcoming projects in North Queensland, JMac seeks an experienced Landscape Leading Hand to contribute to their diverse portfolio that includes unique landscape developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Foreman to oversee construction progress aligning with project timelines, detailed drawings, specifications, and strict health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Champion a safe, Zero Harm work environment, placing safety as the paramount priority throughout all project activities.
- Promote and ensure exceptional project delivery standards across various sites.
Candidate Profile
- Strong grasp of occupational health and safety (OHS) as well as environmental compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to inspire and foster a team culture committed to achieving client goals.
- Competent in managing people and performance, including laborers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to build and lead high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated experience as a site supervisor within large-scale commercial landscaping projects.
- High attention to detail ensuring quality and accuracy in all facets of work.
- Preferred prior experience working on both hardscape and softscape landscaping projects.
