Landscape Foreman

Role Overview

Bondi Landscapes is seeking an experienced Landscape Foreman to join our construction team, focusing on high-end residential projects located throughout Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. This position is hands-on, involving active participation in landscape construction tasks alongside the team, while also overseeing daily site management.

You will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Head Foreman to ensure smooth project flow, coordinate the workforce and materials, uphold top-tier workmanship standards, and ensure precision in details.

Key Responsibilities

• Engaging directly in all facets of landscape construction.
• Leading a small crew and managing daily site operations.
• Interpreting and working from landscape plans and construction blueprints.
• Executing tasks in paving, masonry, carpentry, drainage, concreting, and general landscaping.
• Conducting planting, soil preparation, and softscape activities.
• Managing material logistics including ordering and delivery coordination.
• Monitoring workmanship quality, final finishes, and detailed aspects.
• Liaising with Project Managers, clients, suppliers, and other tradespeople.
• Ensuring projects proceed efficiently and adhere to schedules.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site environment.

Candidate Profile

• Certificate III in Landscape Construction or substantial equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years experience as a Leading Hand, Foreman, or similar role within residential landscaping.
• Proficient practical skills in paving, masonry, and carpentry.
• Solid understanding of softscape and planting techniques.
• Capability to read and work from construction and landscape drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to high-quality workmanship.
• Confident team leadership and collaboration abilities.
• Effective communication and organizational competences.
• Holding a valid White Card.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Dependable, positive mindset with a readiness to actively contribute to tasks.
