Job description
Job Summary
The Land Surveyor will be responsible for executing precise land and site surveys essential to the Sewerage Tunnels project, supporting construction and infrastructure development efforts.
Key Duties
- Conduct various surveys including topographical, setting-out, alignment, and construction work surveys.
- Establish and sustain survey control points, benchmarks, and coordinate systems.
- Carry out surveys related to tunnels, shafts, utilities, roads, and related infrastructure elements.
- Verify contractors' survey work, ensuring adherence to approved designs and project specifications.
- Prepare and evaluate survey documentation including reports, drawings, and as-built records.
- Collaborate with construction, design, and engineering teams to effectively address survey-related challenges.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Have at least 8 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in large-scale infrastructure, tunnelling, sewerage, or utility project environments.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Total Station equipment, GPS/GNSS technology, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and other advanced surveying tools and software.
- Experience in the UAE or Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for infrastructure or tunnelling projects is advantageous.
