Position Overview

IO Geomatics LTD is seeking a Geospatial Surveyor to enhance our evolving survey team. This role is hands-on and diverse, encompassing mobile mapping, drone surveys, laser scanning, MBS, and traditional topographic surveying, utilizing some of the industry-leading equipment.

Role Highlights

• Mainly site-based work, complemented by office time for data processing and drafting.
• Engagement with a broad range of projects using GNSS, Total Stations, laser scanners, UAVs, and mobile mapping technology including NavVis systems.

Core Tasks

• Conducting surveys employing GNSS, Total Stations, and laser scanning tools.
• Supporting and executing topographic, MBS, UAV, and mobile mapping projects.
• Processing gathered survey data to create plans, drawings, and elevations using AutoCAD software.
• Operating autonomously on-site when necessary and collaborating within the broader survey team.
• Communicating effectively with management and clients to guarantee timely and smooth project delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a third-level qualification in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or closely related studies.
• A minimum of one year of practical experience in land surveying.
• Holds a full, clean Category B driving license.
• Safe Pass or CSCS certification, or a willingness to obtain it.
• Familiarity with Trimble survey hardware and related data processing software or equivalents.
• Proficient in AutoCAD for transforming survey datasets into deliverables.
• Ability to use initiative and make independent decisions on-site.
• Adaptability concerning travel and occasional flexible working hours.
