Job description
Role Overview
We seek a seasoned Real Estate Buyer with solid expertise in land acquisition and property sourcing specifically in Zambia. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to identify, assess, negotiate, and secure land parcels for real estate development projects.
Responsibilities
- Locate and procure appropriate land and real estate opportunities.
- Manage the entire land acquisition process from site scouting, negotiation, to deal closure.
- Perform rigorous due diligence covering ownership, land titles, zoning status, legal compliance, and development feasibility.
- Negotiate acquisition pricing and terms with various stakeholders including landowners and agents.
- Collaborate effectively with legal, technical, valuation, and regulatory teams throughout deal execution.
- Build and maintain strong networks with landowners, brokers, government officials, and other stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of trends in the local property and land markets to uncover emerging opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in real estate, land acquisition, or related property acquisition roles.
- Demonstrable expertise specifically in land acquisition is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of Zambia's real estate and land markets.
- Strong negotiation capabilities paired with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Self-driven with the capacity to independently identify and complete land purchases successfully.
- Familiarity with land documentation procedures, title verification, and acquisition regulations applicable in Zambia.
