Role Overview

We are inviting applications for the position of Lagging Operative within our Chillers team located in Rawdon, Leeds. This position involves insulating water circuitry on various chiller units by cutting and fitting insulation lagging precisely. The role requires physically attaching the insulation to unit components, often in confined spaces that necessitate climbing on and off the equipment.

Key Duties

• Precisely cutting insulation to fit templates and securely fixing it onto chiller units.
• Executing work autonomously, using one's own initiative wherever necessary.
• Maintaining high attention to detail to ensure quality insulation work.
• Upholding a tidy and secure workstation in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Qualifications & Training

• Prior experience with lagging is not required as comprehensive training will be provided to suitable candidates.

Working Hours

The standard schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and Friday from 6:00 AM to 11:40 AM.
