Role Overview
This position requires assembling building trusses, ensuring a safe and productive workplace environment, and collaborating closely with team members to uphold high production standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with standard hand tools and the ability to read tape measures accurately in feet, inches, and sixteenths.
- Ability to comprehend and execute written job-related instructions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable team player with a strong focus on safety.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of maintaining productivity for the full shift.
- Willingness to learn new skills and contribute ideas to improve processes.
Primary Duties
- Set up the work area at the beginning of each task in consultation with the Team Leader.
- Assemble trusses according to company specifications and training guidelines.
- Inspect materials, tools, and finished products for quality, reporting issues as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area during operations and prior to leaving.
- Adhere to safety protocols when operating equipment and machinery.
Compensation and Benefits
- Starting pay of $19.50 per hour.
