Role Overview
The hourly wage for this position is $23.87. If you seek career growth, prioritize safety, and are ready to undertake a variety of labor tasks to support our operations, this role suits you. Responsibilities include shoveling, pressure washing heavy off-road machinery, operating equipment like rock trucks and skidsteers, cutting scrap metal using torches, and managing rail switches.
Work Schedule and Environment
This position requires flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and any days throughout the week. You must be prepared to perform in the demanding conditions of a steel mill environment, regardless of weather.
Required Qualifications
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Availability for a minimum 40-hour workweek.
- Competence using a hand torch, driving off-road trucks, operating professional pressure washers, or switching railroad tracks.
- Compliance with all safety protocols and personal protective equipment requirements.
- Reliability in adhering to the assigned schedule, including all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Ability to successfully pass drug/alcohol and background screening.
