Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration and upkeep of master gauges, indicators, and various measurement devices.
- Manage and maintain the metrology room's gauge inventory and database with strong organizational practices.
- Utilize standard instruments to set dial and digital gauges used in production, providing repair assistance when necessary.
- Assess deflection factors on rings of varying sizes and prepare bore cards for production and inspection applications.
Required Qualifications
- Strong fundamental math abilities, including addition and subtraction.
- Proven organizational skills to maintain accurate records and inventory.
- Basic proficiency with computers.
- Technical high school diploma preferred, or equivalent practical technical experience.
- Familiarity with measurement tools such as gage blocks, dial indicators, vernier calipers, and micrometers is advantageous.
- Eligible to work in the United States without need for employment visa or sponsorship.
- Must comply with Export Control laws, qualifying as a "US Person" under 22 C.F.R. 120.15, which includes US citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees.
