Lab Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician to join Fayth Heart and Teens Care in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory tests, managing experiments, and ensuring smooth laboratory operations while upholding strict quality and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform various laboratory tests and experiments to analyze biological or chemical samples with precision.
• Plan and carry out experiments in compliance with established protocols and procedures.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data, preparing comprehensive reports.
• Supervise daily lab activities including sample preparation, equipment upkeep, software record-keeping, and coordination with pathologists.
• Manage inventory by tracking weekly stock consumption, issuing necessary materials, and preparing pre-order lists.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to meet safety and operational standards.
• Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines within the lab environment.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior technicians and support staff.
• Uphold stringent quality control practices aligned with NABH standards during all lab procedures.
• Keep detailed and compliant documentation of all experiments, procedures, and results per NABH guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience working as a laboratory technician or in a similar capacity.
