Role Overview
The KYC Coordinator will play a vital role in overseeing and streamlining the Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures. This includes the accurate processing of KYC documents, conducting compliance verifications, and consistently maintaining updated records. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and organized professionals familiar with compliance regulations, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Terrorism Financing (ATF), thriving in a dynamic, collaborative workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage KYC processes by responding promptly to queries and approval requests.
- Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely approval of KYC documentation.
- Verify that KYC uploads from business units are complete, valid, current, and systematically organized in Salesforce.
- Check that expiry dates are accurately recorded and flagged for necessary action.
- Perform additional verification via World Compliance and quick Google searches as needed.
- Follow up on system alerts related to document and insurance expiries and ensure resolution.
- Engage business units to obtain missing or expired documents promptly.
- After approval, upload KYC documents to SharePoint for record keeping.
- Submit any post-KYC contract amendments to the legal department for review.
- Generate and share monthly KYC reports including statistics, exceptions, and account statuses with stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support for KYC-related duties and assist with any administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3 to 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the logistics sector.
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory; a Master's degree is favored.
