Role Overview

We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join the team at Yates, Blackpool. This role is ideal for those without previous experience, as full training will be provided. The role requires an attentive mindset to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing daily cleaning tasks including floors and surfaces within the kitchen area
• Maintaining and completing cleaning schedules accurately and timely
• Keeping food storage spaces hygienic and organized
• Washing dishes, cutlery, and kitchen utensils thoroughly
• Properly disposing of kitchen waste and ensuring waste containers are managed
• Cleaning and upkeeping kitchen cooking equipment such as grills and cookers
• Assisting chefs with simple food preparation tasks like peeling and chopping fruits and vegetables

Work Environment
