Key Responsibilities
- Prepare all bagel toppings by transforming fresh, high-quality ingredients into our proprietary recipes, including meat preparations.
- Assist in the daily production of our sourdough bagels, involving tasks such as hand shaping, proofing, boiling, and baking.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the back-of-house (BOH) and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage food inventory efficiently using FIFO/FEFO methods, oversee storage, and participate in weekly order planning.
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to switch between baked goods production and general food preparation comfortably, combined with strong organizational capabilities.
- A natural team player with excellent communication skills who enjoys collaborating in a people-centric environment.
- A deep passion for food and hospitality with a strong connection to the HALO brand to consistently deliver high-quality products.
- Flexibility to work varied hours during weekdays and weekends, with prior experience in fast-paced settings.
- Basic knowledge of baked goods and food, with eagerness to improve daily. Experience in kitchen or baking environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of German is a bonus.
