Job Overview
Join the team at DoubleTree by Hilton Belfast City Ten Square as a dedicated Kitchen Porter. This role is vital to maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of the kitchen environment, ensuring all kitchen utensils, crockery, and glassware are thoroughly washed, sanitized, and stored properly. Your efforts directly support the smooth operation of this busy kitchen, upholding the Hilton brand's high standards for guest satisfaction and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and correctly store crockery, cutlery, and glassware to high standards.
- Wash and store pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
- Perform cleaning tasks as detailed in standard kitchen procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of refuse areas and ensure kitchen bins are emptied regularly.
- Handle hazardous substances with proper protective clothing and follow safety instructions.
- Comply with reasonable requests from management or chefs.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance standards and performance.
- Maintain a clean, suitable uniform and uphold personal hygiene and grooming.
- Observe all health and safety regulations rigorously.

- Keep work areas tidy and safe; promptly report any hazards, accidents, or damages to management.

Candidate Requirements
- Right to work in the UK is essential.
- A good command of the English language is required.
- At least 6 months of prior experience as a kitchen porter is preferred.
