About the Role
Join the energetic team at Las Iguanas as a Kitchen Porter, where fast-paced teamwork and a vibrant Latin American-inspired atmosphere define our kitchens. You will be essential in supporting kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness and order, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all meal preparation areas, including ovens, grills, sinks, and stoves.
- Unload deliveries of food and equipment, ensuring correct storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work surfaces, floors, and walls.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling and washing ingredients.
- Organize and clean freezers, refrigerators, storage, and back-of-house areas.
Requirements and Skills
A passion for food and a positive, team-oriented attitude are essential. Experience is not mandatory—enthusiasm and willingness to contribute actively in a dynamic kitchen environment are highly valued.
