Overview

Join voco Fareham-Solent as a valued Kitchen Porter earning £12.71 per hour with a 40-hour workweek. This full-time, onsite position plays a vital role in maintaining the kitchen's cleanliness and supporting culinary operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, mopping, and surface cleaning.
• Assist with ingredient preparation and provide support to chefs during food preparation.
• Manage food handling and storage in line with safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor kitchen supply inventory and notify management when stock levels are low.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and standard-compliant food preparation and delivery.
• Adhere to safety procedures to uphold a safe working environment.
• Handle waste disposal responsibly and promote recycling whenever possible.

Work Schedule & Flexibility

The establishment operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year, requiring staff to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends. Shift patterns and contract hours will be negotiated during the interview process.
