About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and diligent Kitchen Porter to become a vital member of our kitchen team, ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient kitchen operations. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and organization, supporting chefs with basic food preparation and setup, creating a composed environment that enables the team to deliver their best.

Key Responsibilities

• Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized kitchen throughout the shift
• Sweep and mop floors while responsibly handling waste and recycling
• Assist with basic food prep such as peeling and chopping vegetables
• Receive and properly store deliveries of food and supplies
• Support the kitchen opening and closing routines
• Clean cooking equipment and work surfaces to meet hygiene standards
• Always comply with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to facilitate smooth service delivery
• Promptly report any maintenance, hygiene, or safety issues
