About the Role
This position does not require formal education or previous experience, as training will be provided. The role involves general kitchen support tasks to maintain hygiene and assist food preparation.
Key Duties
- Clean and sanitize various kitchen items including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste units.
- Package food for take-out orders efficiently and carefully.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure readiness and availability.
- Utilize manual and electrical tools to clean, peel, slice, and trim food items.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including surfaces, cupboards, appliances, and equipment.
- Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in storage areas such as refrigerators and cupboards.
- Dispose of kitchen garbage and trash responsibly.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Prepare vegetables and fruits by washing, peeling, and cutting as needed.
Working Conditions and Benefits
