Kitchen Assistant

Role Overview

Harbour Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant for our Granby Rose Care Home located at Highgate Park, Harrogate HG1 4PA. This full-time role involves supporting our care home residents by ensuring a clean and comfortable environment. The shift runs from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with a competitive hourly wage of £12.72.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in residents' rooms and communal areas to high standards of hygiene and presentation.
• Oversee housekeeping tasks including laundering and managing linens to ensure residents’ comfort and hygiene.
• Monitor the environment for potential fire hazards or accident risks, collaborating with other teams to maintain resident safety.
