About the Role

Harbour Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join their team at Granby Rose Care Home, Highgate Park, Harrogate HG1 4PA. This position is full-time with shifts from 07:30 AM to 06:30 PM, offering £12.72 per hour. Experience or formal qualifications are not required, as full training and support will be provided, including opportunities to gain a health and social care qualification and career advancement.

Key Responsibilities

The role focuses on maintaining impeccable cleanliness and hygiene within residents' rooms and communal areas. You will also handle housekeeping duties such as managing linens to ensure comfort and hygiene for residents. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams to identify and minimize potential fire and accident hazards to ensure a safe environment for all residents.
