Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and proactive Kitchen Assistant to join our bakery team and assist with daily kitchen operations. You will collaborate closely with bakers to support basic food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and perform general kitchen duties. No professional baking experience is required; instead, we value enthusiasm to learn, teamwork skills, and a commitment to maintaining a tidy and efficient kitchen.

Primary Duties

• Prepare baking ingredients and supplies as directed.
• Assemble packaging materials, such as folding boxes, and pack finished baked goods.
• Clean utensils, baking equipment, and dishes thoroughly.
• Support bakers with simple tasks like mixing, measuring, and food preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and the kitchen area.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and arranging baking ingredients.
• Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and kitchen protocols.
• Perform other general kitchen duties as needed to support the bakers.

Candidate Profile

• Must hold a valid Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate or be willing to complete and pass the certification promptly.
• Dependable, responsible, and eager to learn new skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Capable of following instructions accurately and collaborating as part of a team.
• Focused on maintaining hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Physically able to stand for prolonged periods and perform routine kitchen tasks.
• Previous experience in kitchen or food preparation is advantageous but not mandatory.

Working Schedule and Remuneration

• Salary ranges from SGD 1200 to SGD 1600 monthly based on experience.
