About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Kitchen and Bath Sales Associate who excels at supporting customers through their home improvement projects. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy making a positive impact by guiding customers to the right products and solutions while continuously expanding their own knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service following the GET Model – Greeting, Engaging, and Thanking customers.
• Proactively engage shoppers throughout the store and direct them to suitable products regardless of department.
• Use open-ended questions to understand customers’ project goals and evaluate their expertise level.
• Promote various offered services including Special Services, Tool Rental, Pro Desk, and Pro Services to align with customer needs.
• Drive sales by discussing options categorized as good, better, best, and suggesting complementary goods and services outside the core department.
• Educate clients on overall project components and utilize empowerment programs to resolve customer issues effectively.
• Ensure daily stock upkeep with properly signed, clean, and well-displayed products.
• Maintain up-to-date product and service knowledge for the assigned and adjacent departments.
• Actively seek out additional learning opportunities around products and services.
• Adhere strictly to all safety and loss prevention policies.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items.

• Environment includes warehouse conditions that can be noisy and dusty, with frequent door openings affecting temperature.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
• One to two years of prior experience in retail or a trade-related setting is considered beneficial.
