Role Overview and Responsibilities
- Drive the expansion and daily management of the Kinaxis RapidResponse/Maestro system within the Global IT department.
- Collaborate closely with senior Kinaxis consultants to manage system configuration, provide integration assistance, conduct testing, and support routine operations.
- Support complete Kinaxis implementations including gathering requirements, system setup, testing phases, and launch activities.
- Design, develop, and upkeep workbooks, dashboards, alert systems, and data visualizations within Kinaxis.
- Assist in creating and sustaining data integration pipelines connecting Kinaxis to external platforms such as ERP and Enterprise Data Warehousing systems.
- Oversee data uploads and integration tasks; identify and troubleshoot data integrity issues.
- Offer second-level technical support for Kinaxis-related problems reported by business end-users.
- Perform and document unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), addressing and resolving any discovered defects.
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of five years of hands-on experience with Kinaxis Maestro and completion of at least one full-scale implementation project.
- A bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, or related disciplines.
- Practical expertise in developing and maintaining Kinaxis workbooks, dashboards, alerts, and data views.
- Good understanding of data integration mechanisms, specifically Kinaxis data feeds.
- Proficiency with SQL for diagnosing and validating data issues.
- Strong knowledge of fundamental supply chain planning areas including demand, supply, and inventory management.
- Awareness of ITIL frameworks or similar service management protocols governing incident, change, and problem handling.
- Additional certifications in Kinaxis are advantageous; experience with major ERP systems such as SAP, QAD, or IFS, along with familiarity with ETL processes, is also beneficial.
