Job description
Role Overview
We seek a motivated and inspiring Key Holder to assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring the store operates efficiently and smoothly. This role demands strong coaching and mentoring capabilities to lead by example and promote the behaviors that enable the sales team to deliver genuine, engaging, and personalized customer service, thereby meeting sales and customer service goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the sales team by modeling excellent customer service and sales practices.
- Carry out essential cash handling duties such as start and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
- Share responsibility for opening and closing the store according to a rotating schedule.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated retail experience, ideally in the cosmetics sector.
- Capable of delivering engaging and personalized customer service.
- Desirable prior experience in retail operations, including cash handling and store opening/closing procedures.
- Preferably previous supervisory exposure involving coaching and mentoring staff to achieve targets.
- Availability to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, and special events within a high-paced environment.
- Familiarity with retail point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Must be eligible to work and live in Canada and provide proof when requested.
