Job description

About Montu

Montu stands as Australia's leading health technology company focused on alternative healthcare solutions. Established in 2019, the company supports a broad spectrum of stakeholders including patients, doctors, and pharmacies via its Alternaleaf clinic, offers accredited education for clinicians through the SAGED platform, and provides dispensing solutions across Australia via Leafio. As a founding member of Cannabis Council Australia, Montu actively promotes legislative progress within healthcare. Their culture centers on care, aiming to enhance accessibility and affordability of alternative healthcare — achievements recently acknowledged with Cannabiz Awards for technology use and distribution excellence.

This role is based in Cairns or Townsville, covering territories from Cairns to Mackay and Darwin. Although work is home-based, travel 3-4 days per week within the region is required.

This hybrid role entails managing and growing current portfolios as well as acquiring new partners. The KAM will provide outstanding end-to-end account management, aiming to increase order volumes and revenues among roughly 55 key accounts within the assigned territory. An additional responsibility is building and nurturing relationships with local doctors across Far North Queensland regarding Leafio's products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing to develop value-added initiatives enhancing partner experiences.
  • Work alongside product category teams to analyze market trends and share relevant insights.
  • Engage in strategic planning efforts aimed at driving mutual success and elevating pharmacy performance.
  • Prepare and present regular detailed reports on account progress and strategies for internal and training purposes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years' demonstrated experience in face-to-face key account management, ideally handling a similar portfolio size.
  • Proven capability in managing a sales territory with substantial in-person customer engagement.
  • A track record of meeting or exceeding commercial objectives and sales targets.
  • Experience in industries characterized by short sales cycles is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and market analysis skills.
  • Ability to stay informed on industry trends and market developments.
