Job description
Role Overview
Under the guidance of the Kaiarataki Pūrongo (Head of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications) and working closely with the Pūrongo Kāhui (Fundraising, Marketing & Communications Team), this position plays a vital role in expanding and diversifying fundraising income streams. The role also focuses on strengthening connections with donors, funders, and other supporters. This opportunity provides exposure to various projects alongside room for professional growth and contribution toward the fundraising advancement of DCM.
Key Duties
- Craft engaging funding proposals and donor communication materials.
- Develop and nurture robust relationships with funders and supporters.
- Design stewardship activities that foster continued supporter involvement and sustained funding.
- Enhance fundraising outcomes by managing CRM systems diligently, preparing reports, and utilizing fundraising data insights effectively.
Candidate Profile
- Background in fundraising, philanthropy, donor relations, partnership management, communications, or related domains.
- Proven track record in initiating and executing fundraising efforts leading to increased revenue.
- Exemplary written communication skills, capable of producing persuasive donor communications, funding applications, and detailed reports.
- Strong skills in relationship management, comfortable engaging with diverse stakeholders confidently.
- Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, work autonomously, and maintain high standards of output.
- Excellent organizational capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Competence in using CRM software to keep accurate records, generate reports, and manage supporter information.
