Junior Video Editor

Position Overview

Techinfinity is seeking a dedicated Motion Graphics Designer with 1-3 years of professional experience specializing in video editing and motion graphics. This full-time role requires candidates to work from our Mumbai office located at 2A Majestic Mansion, 380, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Rd, Charni Road (East), Prathna Samaj. Ideal applicants will have a background in digital marketing, social media marketing, or communications agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize digital editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut to create and edit engaging motion graphics and video content tailored for social media platforms.
• Deliver video outputs optimized for various formats including web and mobile devices.
• Engage collaboratively in brainstorming sessions to introduce fresh design approaches and creative ideas.
• Stay updated on industry-leading graphic design and video editing trends and technologies.
• Ensure all creative outputs comply with company standards and guidelines.
• Handle raw footage collection and organization, along with managing uploads to shared drives.
• Follow scripts or storyboards accurately to produce cohesive video narratives.
• Incorporate sound elements such as music and voice-overs to enhance visual content.
• Add graphical enhancements and apply color correction, lighting improvements, and other fixes to elevate footage quality.
• Consistently produce high-quality edits suitable for both short clips and extended video content.
• Work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Innovate new styles and formats in line with project guidelines.
• Create social media teasers and apply appropriate audio and effects to existing clips.
• Manage video projects through all phases from inception to final delivery.
• Possess a thorough understanding of social media platform specifications and trends related to design and video content.
• Demonstrate strong skills in sound design, photo editing, timing, continuity, and special effects including 2D compositing.
• Maintain a portfolio that reflects a strong capability in video editing.
• Collaborate closely with creative teams to ensure final products meet expectations and vision.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to various deadlines and milestones.
• Exhibit creativity and storytelling ability paired with excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline.
• Completion of a video editing course or diploma is preferred.
• Previous experience ranging from six months to one year in video editing or motion graphics roles.
