Junior Treasurer

Role Overview

The Treasury Specialist will assist with the company's daily treasury functions, ensuring smooth cash management, precise financial record-keeping, and effective handling of banking operations. This role works closely with Finance, Accounting teams, and banking partners to facilitate various treasury and banking activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily cash flows and banking transactions.
• Oversee payment processing, administer bank accounts, and maintain related documentation.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and support preparation of cash flow and treasury reports.
• Work alongside Finance and Accounting departments to ensure seamless treasury processes.
• Facilitate internal and external audits by supplying relevant treasury data as needed.
• Maintain treasury records accurately, adhering to company policies.
• Utilize banking platforms, ERP software, and treasury management tools to enhance treasury operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
• Between 1 to 3 years of experience in Treasury, Finance, Accounting, or Banking roles.
• Prior internships or entry-level experience in banking or corporate finance are advantageous.
• Solid understanding of cash management principles and foundational treasury functions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Strong analytical capabilities coupled with excellent organizational skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• A proactive mindset ready to learn in a fast-moving environment.
• Effective communication skills with an ability to collaborate across various stakeholders.
