About the Role
Kickstart your career with Deloitte’s dynamic Extended Enterprise team, specializing in IT Management and Software Asset Management (SAM). This role is ideal for individuals passionate about technology, eager to enhance their skills, and ready to support clients in optimizing software compliance and licensing costs across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in SAM projects serving European clients, ensuring software compliance and license optimization.
- Collaborate with leading software publishers such as Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM on compliance initiatives.
- Conduct detailed analyses comparing software licenses against deployments to establish the Effective License Position (ELP).
- Assist in negotiations with software vendors to improve software license contracts.
- Support the deployment and adoption of SAM tools within client environments.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams including Cybersecurity, IT Advisory, and Legal departments.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities paired with data analysis proficiency.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP functions.
- Basic understanding of various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, macOS, AIX, and Solaris.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse teams.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; fluency in German is an advantageous asset.
- Demonstrated motivation for ongoing learning and professional growth.
