Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Risk Analyst to contribute to the identification, evaluation, and oversight of financial and operational risks within our organization. This role involves assisting with data analysis, preparing comprehensive risk reports, and ensuring compliance with both company policies and legal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the process of recognizing and evaluating operational and financial risks.
- Analyze risk-related data and compile reports for senior management review.
- Participate in creating and enforcing risk management policies and procedures.
- Carry out risk assessment exercises and maintain thorough documentation of results.
- Oversee compliance adherence with established internal controls and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues stemming from risk considerations.
- Keep accurate records of risk activities and assist with audit processes.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Risk Management, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
- Any prior experience in risk analysis, financial services, compliance, or similar roles is desirable.
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, alongside familiarity with data analysis tools.
- Excellent ability to communicate clearly and organize tasks effectively.
- Capacity to work independently while handling multiple assignments and meeting deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
