Concentric is a globally operating risk consultancy, staffed by professionals with military, government, and intelligence experience, dedicated to delivering comprehensive and strategic security and intelligence services. Our offerings include risk advisory, threat intelligence, open-source monitoring, physical protection, audits, secure embedded staffing, and specialized training. Our mission is to become the most innovative and trusted risk management partner worldwide, driven by values such as integrity, collaboration, and excellence.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Junior Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst to join our client-embedded team in Singapore. This full-time remote role requires the candidate to be authorized to work in Singapore without the need for sponsorship. The analyst will monitor various public and social media sources to proactively identify threats and assess risk levels related to the client, hosts, and their guests by synthesizing intelligence from multiple data points.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize OSINT tools to monitor social media and public platforms, searching for advertisements and events mentioning the client via keyword, hashtag, geolocation, and image-based techniques.
  • Investigate posts to associate promoters, venues, or hosting accounts to client-related activities, including user accounts and booking signals.
  • Employ internal data tools and foundational SQL queries to analyze account, listing, and reservation data, identifying connections through identifiers like phone numbers, emails, devices, and payments.
  • Evaluate risks based on event size, timing, past incidents, and references to weapons or drugs, proposing tactical responses ranging from review to enforcement actions.
  • Escalate resolved cases with comprehensive, evidence-supported documentation, ensuring thorough recordkeeping to assist enforcement or law enforcement disclosures when necessary.
  • Adhere to user agreements, privacy policies, and research standards in case investigations.
  • Track and analyze case volumes and outcomes, detect recurring patterns, and share intelligence with the Global Investigations team and partner units.
  • Conduct research on international locations pertaining to client travel including crime risks, political stability, and cultural practices.
  • Follow all relevant procedures aligned with industry best practices, maintaining confidentiality and data security.
  • Build and sustain strong professional relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Work flexible hours as part of a 24/7 team, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with colleagues, management, and clients.
  • Comply with all company policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Occasional travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years experience in OSINT, trust and safety, fraud, intelligence, or investigative roles, or equivalent demonstrated competencies.
  • Strong proficiency in open-source research methodologies including social media investigations, Boolean search techniques, reverse image searching, geolocation, and cross-platform account attribution.
  • Excellent critical thinking to evaluate incomplete evidence, assess risks, and suggest balanced responses.
  • Ability to work with structured data and basic SQL querying skills or a readiness to learn SQL within 90 days.
  • Clear and precise written communication skills for case reporting and stakeholder interaction.
  • High attention to detail with prudent handling of sensitive data aligning with organizational values.
  • Flexibility to work beyond traditional hours due to off-hours event promotions.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and requirements.
  • Experience analyzing threats related to persons of interest.
  • Strong proactive communication to report statuses and identify potential risks.
  • Advanced oral and written communication abilities and experience managing confidential information.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Attributes

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Regional expertise relevant to the role.
  • Additional language skills.
  • Experience with data analysis and open-source or social media investigative tools.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision coverage along with Employee Assistance Programs including maternity benefits.
  • Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, and Permanent Disability insurance coverage.
  • $100,000 group term life insurance.
  • Employee Assistance Program for personal support.
  • Participation in pension schemes.
  • Eligibility for discretionary bonus after one year of employment.
  • 14 days of annual leave, 14 sick days, and 11 public holidays.
  • Maternity and paternity leave provisions.
  • $1000 one-time phone purchase stipend plus a $100 monthly phone stipend.
  • Free access to Risk Intelligence Dashboard and GEAR App for around-the-clock trusted risk intelligence and remote support.
