About the Role
We are seeking a Junior Life & Pensions Administrator to join an established financial brokerage located in Kildare Town. This full-time permanent role offers a valuable opportunity for individuals beginning their career in financial services to gain hands-on experience and develop expertise in life assurance, income protection, serious illness cover, and pension products within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative tasks related to life assurance, income protection, serious illness cover, and pension offerings.
- Handle processing and monitoring of new applications, renewals, and policy changes.
- Ensure client records and policy documents are maintained accurately and up-to-date.
- Communicate with life and pension providers to resolve queries, process applications, and address pending requirements.
- Prepare and assist with client correspondence and relevant documentation.
- Support internal reporting and general office administration duties.
- Enhance proficiency with specialized life and pensions administrative systems.
- Progress relevant professional qualifications with company-supported education initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum one year of professional experience in banking, brokerage, or a related financial services sector.
- Strong focus on detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A sincere interest in building a lasting career within financial services, with a focus on life and pensions specialization.
- Completion or ongoing pursuit of APA with Regulations qualification is preferred.
- Adaptability in learning new software systems and workflows.
- Well-organized approach to managing multiple administrative responsibilities.
- Previous experience in a life and pensions environment or familiarity with Tishkint OS or similar platforms is advantageous but not mandatory.
Remuneration and Work Conditions
- Competitive salary up to 30,000 per annum.
- Permanent, full-time employment based in Kildare Town.
- Initial work is fully office-based.
- Standard workweek of 37.5 hours with flexibility to start between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM and finish between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM.
- Core business hours are from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Annual leave entitlement of 20 days plus statutory holidays.
- Employer pension contribution at 3%, which is matched by the employee.
- Education and professional development support provided following successful completion of the probationary period.
- Part-time arrangements may be negotiable for candidates returning to work with a relevant background.
